Developing Talk Show marketing for a post COVID world.

Wendy Williams has never left viewers without knowing she performs at 100% each show. As the decision was made to have Season 12 begin taping without a live audience, Chukbox was tasked to help build the anticipation of the season through social media and email strategy, in addition to managing WendyShow.com, its server environment and site security.

During planning of Season 12, Wendy’s team began to explore a new color palate which required a creative refresh of her digital assets, and the opportunity to re-design the entire email communications templates developed for fans.

Working in parallel with Wendy William’s and Debmar Mercury/Lionsgate internal Creative Director and design team in ideating directions to match the show’s new on-air package and set design, the campaign design resulted in a cohesive visual across both digital and on-air branding.

The results of the combined efforts between Chukbox and Wendy Williams’ internal creative team re-launched the Wendy Show with an updated and refined brand identity.
